Dear Colleagues
I trained in SVUH, and completed fellowships in Northwestern University in Chicago and at Addenbrookes’ in Cambridge.
I worked as National Training Coordinator in the faculty for 2 years, heavily involved in recruitment and interviewing, training initiatives such as multi-source feedback and competency based medical education.
After that I took on the role of local training coordinator for Tallaght University Hospital, as liaison with the faculty, attending education committee meetings and first year interviews for 4 years.
I have always been involved in teaching, with lectures and tutorials locally, and in the faculty for part 2B exams and in Kuwait for 7 years.
I have been part of the faculty delegation for Irish Medical Council training site accreditations on three occasions.
Since my early career I have fostered relationships with colleagues and trainees at multiple different sites and I would hope to use these experiences to improve the training experience and promote faculty interests to be the best of my abilities
