Martin Higgins, Cork University Hospital
Dr Martin Higgins is a Consultant Radiation Oncologist at Cork University Hospital. He completed the RSCI Higher Specialist Training Scheme in Radiation Oncology. He has been involved with the Faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists for a number of years; first, as a trainee representative on the education sub- committee, and currently, he is the local training co-ordinator for the Higher Specialist Training Scheme in Radiation Oncology at Cork University Hospital.
Martin chaired the organising committee for the Radiation Oncology Annual Scientific Meeting in 2023 and has enjoyed interacting with both trainees and consultant colleagues across the country in his faculty roles to date. He would relish the opportunity to continue to be involved with, and contribute to, the development and promotion of the Faculty of Radiologists and Radiation Oncologists if elected as a faculty board member.”
